Where Dordogne meets Lot-et-Garone
Maison Saint-Blaise sits just outside Rampieux, between Monpazier, Beaumont-du-Périgord and Biron and a 20 minute drive from Bergerac. In Dordogne and close to Lot-et-Garonne.
Within 7 to 20-minutes you can wander through several medieval bastide towns, visit traditional farmers’ markets, and enjoy long lunches on sunny terraces.
Favourites among our guests include Château de Biron, the summer evening market in Beaumont, and the artisan shops of Monpazier, one of France’s Most Beautiful Villages.
For the more active days: go canoeing on the Dordogne River, cycling through the countryside, or tree-climbing in Parc en Ciel. Wine lovers can tour nearby vineyards around Bergerac, Monbazillac or visit one of our recommended spots, while foodies will love night markets in summer, cepes harvesting during fall and truffle tastings during winter.
And sometimes, the best plan is no plan at all. Simply stay home, swim, nap under the trees and watch the stars come out.
